Historical events on your birthday!!We are a retired couple with grown children and many wonderful grandchildren. Sea-Ami comes from the place where Keith wanted to retire to - "Somewhere between Seattle and Miami" an that's what we've done. We've made our home in between the two - no matter where the Lord puts us.

Since Tuesday is the annual Corned Beef and Cabbage Ritual, they have been in hot demand.
Here are a couple of photos of our morning "aqua exercise" group. Our "fearless leader" Kathy does a wonderful job of getting us to stretch, balance, work our 'cores', and have a lot of fun at the same time. We meet every morning from 9 - 10 am and do the weight exercises, rope stretches and even more stretches on the side of the pool. She has a whole repertoire of different moves that warms us all up and gets us going for our busy days in the sun. The water is kept at a wonderful 86 or so and is nice and warm for us each morning!

rtainment) and the Moonlight Swim, and Bingo (every Monday and Thursday), and last night we played cards in the Rec room!! They have lots to do and much to keep everyone busy. They also have lots of stuff that I haven't gotten involved in... the line dancing classes look like lots of fun - but my knee doesn't want to do it. Wednesday nights they teach Ballroom Dancing - but my knee and Keith's ankles don't want to do that either. Neither of us are really into the shuffleboard and bocci that happens 2x each week. Our neighbor, Boots, really participates on that - he doesn't do the pool - but he does about everything else. His wife, Karen, does the pool with us, and we all enjoy the dances!!
g the lessons learned during the classes they attended - but we had just as much fun!! The same entertainer - Jim - as in 'Music by Jim' that we had for the Sock Hop led us thru another great evening! He is certainly a well rounded musician with a great ability to keep everyone on their toes!
After so many - you'd think a person would just forget-about-'em.... nope, doesn't happen... at least not this year ~ ~ ~ maybe next year!
We had lots and logs of good snacks, candy, cocoa, and flavored coffee after our 2nd workout of the day. Kathy did take it a little easier on us than in the morning and several of the husbands that attended ran a very, very comical comentary throughout the workout!!

I had so much fun!
We arrived back in San Diego on Monday - This is a picture from the plane about 20 minutes before we landed at Lindberg Field. Keith and I got in from Florida about 12:30, Sharen (from K Falls via Bullhead) and Dad (Bullhead City) got in just as our gourmet dinner was being picked up from Popeyes (hehee). Rod and S'te, generous with thier home as always, just opened the door and we had a great time. Dad was amazed at how much the babies had grown since the last time he saw them 4 1/2 years ago. I was amazed that he took so well to all of them and they didn't drive him nuts (it's easy when there are 8 kids home). The littlest ones just absolutely adored him!
The kids went back to school on Tuesday so that gave us "adults" a chance to catch up, show pictures, brag on the kids, and generally eat, visit, and catch up on the 4 1/2 years since we were last all together. :) And 2 (actually 3) more children have been added to the family....

Then we had a little reading after dinner....
Just as all was just about finished, we had a serious male family member bonding going on!! I think we wore them out... and embarassed Grandpa just a little..... LOL.... It is definately a fave!!

ticipate in the Lion King show - he had a great time. Elizabeth could've participated also but her shy bug turned on - or so I heard.
The 29th we headed out to Melbourne Beach. It was beautiful. We got there several hours before the kids did, had dinner on the deck, and really relaxed... The kids got there and had bites and were really heavy eyed... Rick and Keith took them up while April and I sat out for a bit longer. There is just something about the stars and the sound of the ocean for relaxing totally! It was a beautiful evening..
New Year's Eve weather was really nice for spending an afternoon on the beach - I helped the kids make sand castles and dig holes - then to fill them back in again.... we went up and took cat naps so that we would be hale and hearty for ushering in 2009!
